When choosing a silo make sure to allow a 50 ton capacity so you are not caught out being reliant on deliveries to arrive just in time. A 30-40 ton cement silo will require you to have you silo empty before receiving the next delivery, this is operationally a nightmare. If you don't empty the silo first you may still have too much product to receive a full delivery and if you empty it first you may find yourself having to wait for the next delivery to arrive before continuing production. To be prudent you should have product in you low level silo, be able to receive a full tanker load and not have to worry if it will fit in. Please keep in mind that when the powder is blown into the silo it's volume is greater than it will be a few hours later after it settles. We think of all these things for you with our designs, we don't provide silos that cause these problems.
